INDIANA'S
FAVORITE ARCHITECTURE
The Americas Favorite
Architecture poll published last spring provides a broad overview
of architecture in the United States. Indiana, however, is poorly represented
by only one building The Athenaeum by Richard Meier, FAIA,
in New Albany listed at number 116. Architects
in Indiana know that there is much more great architecture
in our state.
AIA Indiana members are invited to submit
their favorite Indiana buildings and the very best in
your community. Nominations
are being accepted in multiple categories for facilities
located in Indiana. Select the information link below
to view submission requirements now.

Discovery
Channel Looking for Architects
The
Discovery Channel is looking for architects who would be
interested in
being a host on the new show, "Hidden Cities."
They are looking for anyone who is involved in the field
of infrastructure;
architects, civil engineers, contractors, urban planners,
etc. They would
also like to meet any professors, teachers or people who
are simply
passionate about these topics. They don't need an expert
in every area,
just someone who loves what they do.
"Hidden Cities" will explore the vast and often invisible machinery
that
allows modern metropolises to function like clockwork. From
how water makes
its way to your tap, to how commuter systems work, it will
all be covered.
If you are interested and would like more information please
contact Alissa
Haight Carlton, Casting Producer, "Hidden Cities," Discovery
Channel,
323-284-5162, hiddencitiescasting@yahoo.com.
